How Can You Help Us?

            We need prayer and we need financial support in order to bring the child God has for us home from Ethiopia.  We are encouraged by the many ways God has already provided for us up to this point of the adoption process.  We have just completed the home study and thank God that things seem to be moving along well at this point…but there is still a long way to go.  As many of you know, adoption is expensive.  We anticipate that our entire adoption will cost around $30,000.  We have already saved/raised nearly $10,000.  If you would consider supporting us financially, we would greatly appreciate the important role you will play in not only caring for orphans, but also in forever blessing and changing our family!  Please email us at jengrusy@gmail.com if you're interested in knowing how to support us.

            Another way that we would greatly appreciate your support is prayer.  As we have begun the adoption process, we are learning first-hand not only how expensive it is, but also how much work is involved, how long of a process it can be, and that no adoption journey is the same, easy, or predictable.  Please pray that God would enable the process to go smoothly and that He would keep us trusting in Him.  Please pray for our child in Ethiopia: that he would be safe, that God would be preparing him to enter our family, and that God would chose to save him at a young age.  Also pray for our family: that God would give us grace and wisdom as we look forward to welcoming this child into our home, and that God would be preparing our hearts and keep us relying on Him.
