About

Hello, we are the Grusy family!  Our names are Adam, Jenny, Ethan, Emma, and Lydia.  We are currently living in Louisville, KY, where Adam attends The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is training for pastoral ministry.  We have been here for 4 years, and think that it will take us about 2-3 more years to complete Adam's MDIV.  We are trusting that God will then lead us to where he wants us to go for Adam to become a pastor at a church somewhere.
We are so thankful for the time that the Lord has given us in Lousiville, KY.  We have enjoyed being in Louisville mainly because of our church family!  We are members of a small church called Auburndale Baptist Church.  We are so thankful for the sweet Christian fellowship that we have there, and are encouraged to think of the ways that we have grown in the past 4 years being at such a great, gospel-believing church!

A little bit more about our family is that we have 3 children and hope to add a 4th through adoption.  Ethan is a our sweet, compassionate oldest who is 5 years old.  It's a blessing to see him grow and take on the big brother role so well.  He's such a sweet older brother and brings much laughter and fun to our family!  Emma is our next child, who is 3 years old.  She is such a sweet, affectionate daughter and is all about princesses and babies.  It's a blessing to see the ways that she desires to care for and serve her brother and sister, especially Lydia.  And our youngest is Lydia, who is 1 year old.  She has been such a wonderful addition to our family.  She is a sweet, laid-back little girl who loves to giggle and be a part of what's going on around her.  She loves to snuggle, especially her daddy!  :-)

We truly believe that as Psalm 127:3 says, "children are a heritage from the Lord."  We are thankful for the incredible blessing that God has graciously given to us in the children that we already have, and we look forward to the blessing to come in adding another child into our family through adoption.
